I’m very good at procrastinting, aren’t I? Anyway, the time has come everyone for another installment in this ‘Best Of 2019’ series. Even though we are more than 3 months late, I reckon today is the perfect time for us to reveal our 20 most inspiring EP’s of 2019- also especially since we all need our EP’s and albums to help us get through this whole quarantine process. So… without further ado, here is our list of 20 EP’s which have inspired and encouraged us!

Welcome to the latest installment of our most recent blog series Top Tens. Last time, we unveiled 10 artists and songs that in our opinion should have been included on the official WOW Hits 2018 track listing, but weren’t. This time, on this special post, and in keeping with a similar theme, I will take an educated guess and list 20 songs that should be shoe-ins for WOW Hits 2019 (key word- should… I wrote a similar post last year and only 2 out of the 20 made it on WOW Hits 2018!). Some songs that I will predict for WOW Hits 2019 are released right now, so audio slides/lyric videos/music videos/song stories will be below, but others haven’t been released yet and I am just predicting based on the artist. Will these tracks be there in a year’s time? Only time will tell.

Welcome to the latest instalment of our Top 10 blog series. It’s been a while since we last posted Top Tens on this site (check out the last post here!)- last time, we threw back to the good ol’ days of DC Talk, and delved into some of our favourite tracks that gave us major nostalgia. This time, in light of the recent WOW Hits 2018 song reveal on amazon.com (you can view the list here), I will unveil 10 songs from 10 artists that I think should have been in within the track list of 39, but weren’t, for one reason or another. What I will say is this- there are millions of popular radio singles and CCM songs releasing every year, and to fit them all into 39 spots is impossible. There will be songs that will miss out. Simple as that. However, these songs that I post below were, in my opinion, shoe-in’s for inclusion, and deserved to be present. Why they were omitted, I will probably never know.
Another few months later, another post. Last time I posted my Best-Of 2017 list, it was incorporating my favourite songs throughout the first three months of the year. Indeed I’ll post another favourite songs list in July (encompassing April – June) and again in September and December. Now in this best-of article, I have decided to reveal our Top 25 albums of the year thus far- from January – June 2017. Now we will also post our favourite albums of July – December in December, and then maybe do another post of the albums that didn’t make it in either list. Because frankly, there’s just too many albums that have released this year to have our favourite 25 for the whole year. There’s just too many! Don’t you feel tired of singing the same songs every Sunday morning at church services? Not that there’s anything wrong with singing “How Great is Our God” for the billionth time, except when you realise that you are indeed singing it for the billionth time. Songs are great, but sometimes, all you want is to just sing a new song. And don’t fret, because God wants you to sing a new song as well. Not that I’m great with quoting from the bible, but I do remember this- that we were supposed to sing a new song to the Lord, according to the start of Psalm 96:1. We were restless for a reason, and while I know there’s nothing wrong with singing songs to death, sometimes to sing a new song (with obviously a new easy-to-learn melody) means to bring forth a spirit of re-awakening and renewal, as we revisit some truths that may have been lost over the years in favour of monotony and the mundane.

Another year, and you know what that means- another batch of songs that are going to be going to radio, songs that are going to be heard by millions of listeners on the radio, that impact into people’s homes throughout the course of the next 12 months. Now to predict which songs to release to radio, and songs that could be poised to have an impact in people’s lives can be a difficult, yet I’m willing to give it a good stab. Mind you, these songs that I list are in no way an indication of what could be on WOW Hits 2018. We all know that WOW Hits has their own formula and they’re not always right. And so, there are 12 months ahead of us, which songs do I reckon will be sung on a regular basis in homes around the world during that time? Read on to find out.

It’s been quite a while since we as a site have posted anything (not since mid December), but with busyness in work leading up to the Christmas season, we have since decided to take this time to rest a little. Now with this new post, I have looked forward to the year of 2017, and what it will bring. While 2016 had a lot of great albums released that we could celebrate, I have catalogued 15 album/EP releases that release between now and next year, that I have been excited about, and I’m sure you will be too. While this year has been quite possibly one of my favourite years when it comes to album releases, if these 15 album releases are as great as I reckon they could be, then next year will be one of the best years yet in Christian music!

5 weeks to the day. That’s it. Exactly 35 days until Christmas Day 2016. Not long to go isn’t it? Pretty soon we’d all be thinking about buying presents for our friends and family, alongside getting into the Christmas spirit by listening to carols and original Christmas songs. Department stores in shopping centres will start playing Christmas songs (if they haven’t already) and sooner rather than later, we’d see the Christmas decorations and fake Christmas trees that’ll be around the main centre courts of the shopping malls we would frequent between now and December 25th. So what does that mean for our next top 10s post here at 365 Days of Inspiring Media? Our favourite Christmas albums over the last 5 years, that’s what! No seriously, there has been a lot of Christmas albums that have released and therefore choosing 10 albums can be difficult. But we have nevertheless narrowed them down, and have made difficult decisions. So without further ado, here are 10 Christmas albums below over the last few years that have been impactful for us (plus 5 albums that are honourable mentions that didn’t make the cut)!
