Welcome to the latest instalment of our most recent blog series Top Tens, which is posting every Sunday, Australian time. Last week I shared my top 10 worship artists, and every week I will continue to share my ‘top ten ____’ (totally subjective by the way!), give a brief reason (whether the reasons are logical or illogical is another story!), and once again I will open the forum and discussion to all of you!
Today we’ll be talking about top 10 movie trilogies/franchises, and why these 30 movies (or more) are either sentimental for personal reasons or just because it’s part of popular culture and to not watch them would be criminal (nah, not really, but seriously, I think you should watch these 10 trilogies below, they are all pretty awesome, for one reason or another!) In honour of the new WOW Hits compilation releasing in September, I have decided to make this sentimental Saturdays post about a comparison of WOW Hits, namely, the upcoming WOW Hits 2015, and its counterpart 10 years ago, WOW Hits 2005. While I have discussed the logistics of a WOW Hits list a few Sentimental Saturdays posts back, here I discuss about the slow phasing out of certain artists and the inclusion of a few more when comparing both lists, and the fact that some of these artists that were on previous WOW compilations are just as prominent, relevant, encouraging and motivating now as they were back when they were ‘popular’.

Rush (Don’t Ask Me Why, Learning To Fly, We Are Family)
Starring: Tom Ellis, Larenz Tate, Sarah Habel, Rick Gonzalez, Erica Cerra, Harry Hamlin, Rachel Nichols
USA Network has taken a risk with it’s new show Rush, presenting us with Hawk Lawson from Royal Pains, but essentially making the titular character of Dr William Rush (Tom Ellis) a bit more rough around the edges, more ethically immoral (maybe ethically apathetic in certain situations), and certainly only invested when there are big bucks and large sums of money involved. Though the show hasn’t received the high ratings that we’ve come to expect from USA Network (and we have seen the high viewers in shows like Royal Pains, Suits and shows that have ended like Psych, Burn Notice and White Collar), and this ratings dip is probably due to Rushand Satisfaction having virtually no lead in- no established show to lead into the two new dramas; these past few episodes since I reviewed the pilot, have garnered my interest slightly. Although the show is flawed, as there are many plot points that are cliché and at which I roll my eyes, there are also developments that are interesting, of which I will lay out below.

So many times in this Futuristic Fridays series I discussed about the future in relation to how it could be if something in this time that we take for granted was taken away from us. From a future without Spotify, Netflix, or even a future without the social relationships needed to function because of increased gaming, or the future of worship and albums with the rise in digital songs, consumerism, the dying out of CD’s and the ease of the consumer to have whatever they want with easy access; this week we tackle something different- how would our futures be if nothing was taken away, but if something was added.
