I know it’s Saturday afternoon in Australia where I live, and most likely Saturday elsewhere in the world, but here is the latest instalment of Food Fridays. Rather than speak about a particular recipe, I will instead delve into a ‘celebrity’ chef that takes his cooking seriously, that pushes the limits of cooking to the max, and inspires me to cook a wide variety of dishes!

If you have read my previous Worship Wednesday blog about Matt Redman’s smash hit song “10 000 Reasons”, then you know how much I have grown to love and respect Matt’s songs and his deep and honest lyrics. While I will not delve deep into how I came to appreciate Matt’s worship anthems more (that has only occurred over the past few months), what I will say is that another of my favourite worship songs of late has been the powerful and captivating upbeat worship anthem “Sing And Shout”, also by Matt Redman, and that is what I will be briefly be highlighting in this week’s post.

Most times that we have talked about a Futuristic Friday instalment, we have discussed some aspect of the future that is changing, whether it is in terms of technology, film, TV, events in the world, gadgets, food, politics; and we have discussed these topics in a way that probes and asks questions about the impact on future generations, whether it is positive or negative, but nevertheless pivotal in the coming years to the benefit of our society. And everytime we have delved into a Sentimental Saturdays post, we have looked at things that happened in our personal lives, impacting us to be the person God made us to be today. Different to Throwback Tuesdays in that we haven’t necessarily talked about the popular timeless things of the past, in this post we have delved into our thoughts and feelings when faced with the positive memories of the good things in life. And sometimes we have infused these two blogs together in particular weeks, just because the topic at hand related to both overarching groups.
Last week we delved into worshipping Jesus when life doesn’t seem to make sense. We talked about worshipping in the everyday life, in the small things, and in the times when we are angry and do not understand. This week, I’m going to talk about an incident that occurred today, and how that spoke to me about worshipping God.
