FOR KING AND COUNTRY – LIVE FROM THE ICC THEATRE (CONCERT REVIEW)

For KING & COUNTRY have been one of my favourite bands in recent years. My brother and I went to see them live at the Sydney Opera House back in 2019, when both myself and Josh, as well as a few friends, saw them live in concert- I ‘reviewed’ that night for the website, while the band has extensively been discussed and covered here on the site as well. Now fast-forward 5 years- give or take (since the Opera House concert experience), and Joel and Luke (the duo who make up the ‘face’ of for KING & COUNTRY) have delivered once again- a stellar live music set experience on May 31st, at the ICC Theatre in the heart of Sydney CBD, dubbed The Homecoming Tour. With the concert only just a few days ago; it’s nevertheless fresh in my mind- dare I say, that the night may be in fact better this time around, compared to 5 years ago. Sure, the venue is not the Opera House, but ICC Theatre is the next best thing…right? From the hours of 6:50pm till just after 10pm; the night was well worth it, and by far one of my favourite concert experiences that I can remember, in recent history and memory.

Hey everyone… guess what! It’s July 2023… and totally unacceptable that we haven’t posted many ‘best of lists’ from 2022 thus far. There are lots and lots of albums to honour though, and it’s time to rectify this issue right away! So without further ado, let me present to you all our favourite 30 albums as a site for the entire of 2022… the albums that scored 5/5! Impacting and inspiring songs are special, but whole album masterpieces? BEST OF 2022- PART 2: TOP 50 MUSIC VIDEOS OF 2022

Hey everyone… guess what! COVID-19 is still here- this time as the descendant of Omicron version (no surprises there!)… and though we all are living in some semblance of normal, there are still some movies that are only released on streaming services because of COVID-19, while some artists are just getting back into creating music albums. And so, as we all adjust to this new normal- let’s in the meantime jam out to inspiring music videos! This past few years have been quite crazy and eventful; but there have been some heartfelt, poigant, emotional and just fun-filled music videos that have debuted within the past year. BEST OF 2021- PART 5: TOP 15 DELUXE EDITION AND BEST-OF COMPILATION ALBUMS OF 2021

Hey everyone… guess what! It’s Mother’s Day 2022. So happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers of the world! But I’ve just found out that within our last ‘best of 2021’ post about our top 40 albums of 2021; we have not included some albums! Perhaps you’ve noticed, perhaps you haven’t! Anyway, the reality is that we’ve created a brand new category this year- and that’s for deluxe edition and best-of compilation albums. Pitting them in our list again all original albums… isn’t fair at all- because it’s like comparing different kinds of albums! And so, as we rectify this issue right away; let me present to you all our favourite 15 deluxe edition albums as a site for the entire of 2021!
