As I mentioned earlier in an analysis post about the nominations, the GMA Dove Awards is one of my most favourite time of the year in terms of Christian music, along with the announcing of the WOW Hits list, and the K-Love Fan Awards nominations. For those of who are not sure as to what the Dove Awards are, let me give you a quick run-down.
Did you know that Hillsong UNITED won Artist of the Year yesterday at the Dove Awards? Yep, you heard me right. The Aussie worship movement that has wowed us time and time again with their simple yet effective worship tunes, although some critics complain that they release too many albums every year…yeah that band.

Full of new pop songs, including her single ‘Come Back to Life’, I had the privilege of interviewing Kerrie via email, as we discussed the EP, what she hopes listeners will experience when hearing the new songs, as well as her thoughts about being on a label compared to making music independently.
