Which worship songs throughout the 2000s have been your favourites? Let us know in the comments. Til next time.
Wow, great list! 🙂 Song of Love and He Reigns are two of my very favorite CCM songs from the 2000s. Today Is The Day is great too. 🙂
As for other worship songs…I really like Mighty to Save by Laura Story, Glorious Day by Casting Crowns, and Let It Rise by Big Daddy Weave (is that from the 2000s or 2010s?). Also, I don’t think this is from the 2000s (I can’t be sure though), but I like Waiting Here For You by Christy Nockels. 🙂
Throwback Tuesdays are one of my favorite weekly posts. 🙂

thanks for the comment, sunny. yeah, love ‘mighty to save’, ‘glorious day’, and ‘let it rise’ too. and no, ‘waiting here for you’ is part of the 2010s- but that song will go straight into my favourite 10 worship songs of the 2010s…
in fact, 5 songs so far that are my favourites of the 2010s would be:
waiting here for you- christy nockels
christ be all around me- leeland
not for a moment- meredith andrews
oceans- hillsong united
my heart is yours- kristian stanfill
Just remembered that I love the version of Blessed Be Your Name by the Newsboys and Rebecca St. James. I never knew it was done by Matt Redman, that is awesome! 🙂

the song was actually written by matt redman in 2002. the newsboys and rebecca covered the song in the newsboys’s album devotion in 2004.
