Best of 2018: Anticipated TV series and Anticipated Movies for 2018

Welcome to 2018 everyone, I hope you have had a great Christmas and New Year. It’s time for the first ‘best of 2018’ instalment of the year, which I guess could also double up as a ‘Top Tens’ post as well. And what better way to kick it off than to speak about our most anticipated movies and TV shows for the next 365 days?

It’s no secret that if you heavily examine all of the posts we’ve ever done on this site, you’ll probably find that the majority is about music. And that’s ok, because Christian music is what we know the most, and during times of busyness, it is the easiest to post about, in our opinions. We’ve reviewed more music albums as opposed to TV shows and movies in the past, simply because it’s something we’re familiar with, and something that doesn’t take a lot of time.

But as it’s a new year, we’ve decided to have a ‘New Years resolution’ of sorts- to intentionally include more content on this site related to media other than Christian music- media that still inspires and provides meaning and an avenue to discuss topics relevant today. I mean, take the last TV-themed top tens blog, where we spoke about our most anticipated TV series for the 2017/2018 fall broadcast TV season- so far we have not seen a single new TV show. Same with most of the movies from our previous top tens posts here and here. While this is of no fault of our own, it is a new year now, and we are hoping for change- for us to be impacted, changed and excited about a new TV show or a movie in the same way that we currently are about Christian music in general.

So without further ado, let me provide you with a list of movies and new TV shows that we are eager to watch in the coming year, with trailers where possible.
