Track Listing:

  1. How Great Thou Art (Until That Day)

Matt Redman is an iconic worship artist. Period. His creation of the song ‘Blessed Be Your Name’ alone ought to be enough to be listened to anyone who loves worship music, at least once. His career over the years has spanned decades, and have delivered standout songs like ‘10000 Reasons’, ‘You Never Let Go’, ‘The Heart of Worship’, ‘Lord Let Your Glory Fall’, ‘Never Once’, ‘Better Is One Day’, ‘Once Again’, ‘The Father’s Song’ and ‘Dancing Generation’, to name a few. His distinct voice has captured the hearts of millions around the world for quite some time, and it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down any time soon. In fact, as of 2024, he’s unveiled a new-ish (but also super-old) song for us to celebrate alongside him with- Matt’s own very rendition of ‘How Great Thou Art’, featuring guest artists like TAYA, Chris Tomlin, Brian & Jenn Johnson, Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Matt Maher, Bethel Music and Blessing Offor; on a song that has become synonymous with Christian hymns, and is a clear and perfect reminder that songs of yesteryear can still be revisited now, be refreshly invigorating and exciting for a new generation of worshippers.

The song itself is timeless. ‘How Great Thou Art’ is by far one of my favourite worship hymns. Even people who do no have a faith in Jesus Christ, are still familiar with this track. Matt himself decided to take the song and place his own special twist on it- showcasing the actual track with other artists (that I aforementioned above) and making the song fresh and relevant for a newer generation, who may not have heard the song itself, Matt Redman, or maybe both. A timeless classic that’ll always be one, in years to come; Matt’s way of evoking emotions within us through this track; is nothing short of miraculous and awe-inspiring. All of Matt’s friends (who sing on the track) are enthusiastic as well, and this rendition of the song is a must-have if you’ve enjoyed similar artists like TAYA, Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe or Cody Carnes. Well done Matt for this song that’ll continue to be a classic for years to come.
