As the temperatures climb here in the States, I thought I would post a simple and refreshing recipe for today’s Food Friday blog. It takes a minute to whip up, and you’re left with a refreshing drink. You can either have it as a breakfast, or a healthy snack. Enjoy!
- ~2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 individual container of strawberry yogurt (or choose any flavor you like)
- Around 1 cup of orange juice, or apple juice
- 1-2 cups of ice depending on how thick you want it, use more ice if you use fresh strawberries
- A banana (optional)
- Tbsp honey (optional)
Now here’s the simple part, just put all the ingredients into a blender or another blending device like a Ninja, blend until smooth, add ice or juice as necessary. You can add or eliminate ingredients depending on how much you want to make.
