FLASHBACK FRIDAYS: WEEK 8 (Woven And Spun by Nichole Nordeman)- What’s the Point of Leaving a Life Of Legacy if We’re All going to Die Someday?

One thing I’ve been noticing over the past few weeks especially, is something that I have been pondering about lately. I’ve been seeing a pattern of late, in not just generally the customers that come to our café, but also the retailers, and just generally the people that pass by, sometimes without a care in the world. And it’s a trend that I reckon is more and more prevalent in today’s culture more than anything. What I have been noticing, is that while some regular customers, be it older folk or younger folk, have the same order and the same seat, come on the same day, and dare I say it, talk about the same things, maybe because of habit or routine; other people I see wandering the halls of the shopping centre, either are rushing to whatever appointment they have, or are looking as if they just woke up out of bed, and are bumming around cause they don’t have a clue as to what they want to accomplish with their life. And either way is sad.
