We’re coming to the end of June, and it’s officially end of financial year tax time. So before we post any mid-year themed reflective blogs or reviews, it’s time for another installment of the ‘Best of’ series. Last time we delved into our top music videos of the first half of the year, and this time, we are going to reveal to you all which songs throughout the 3 months of 2018 (April – June) have impacted us greatly, made us jump up for joy in praise to Jesus, have tugged at our heart, and have encouraged us to tap our toes and just dance! So without further ado, here are 20 songs that are our most favourite of April-June 2018.
With four days to go before June 2018 is over and then we’re heading into the second half of the year; I sit back and reflect- gee, this year has gone by real fast. And yes, I mean really fast. And I know I probably say this every year, but I truly believe that this year has the most music, music videos and albums that have resonated with us as a site…but then again, if we were to revisit years gone past, we may have to revise our lists. Nevertheless, as each year progresses, I am able to appreciate more and more music, and admire and take note of very exquisite videos in the process. So without further ado, here below are 20 music videos that have stood out for us during the first half of the year. What are yours? Let us know in the comments. Til next time!
Another year, another post about “Top 10 CCM Songs Of The Summer”- and this time, instead of the last two instalments here and here, which we posted in July 2017 and July 2016 respectively, I’m going to ‘gaze into my crystal ball’ and have an educated guess about which songs that I reckon will be BIG over the next few months (both on CCM radio and inspirational in listeners’ lives!), and voice my opinions now- which songs do I reckon will explode and which songs do I reckon will have massive airplay on radio during the upcoming 3 months? Also, which songs do I reckon will worm their way into our hearts, and change our lives from the inside out?
Last time on Flashback Fridays, I delved into what I reckon is one of today’s most thought about ‘questions’ (it may not even be a question if it is something we’re all not voicing aloud!) of- am I loved, and am I accepted despite everything I have and haven’t done. Linking that back to the unconditional love that Jesus has for us, as evidenced by everything Jesus has done for us, heard in many songs in Diamonds from Hawk Nelson; I reckon that it’s time that this week I expand upon what I believe to be one topic that still needs to be explored more and more.
Continue reading FLASHBACK FRIDAYS: WEEK 13 (Response by Phil Wickham; and Born Again by Newsboys)- So…now that we know that we are unconditionally loved, what is our response? What does it mean to be ‘born again’?

We’re coming to the end of March, and it’s officially Easter time. So before we post any Easter themed blogs or reviews of Easter themed albums, it’s time for another instalment of the ‘Best of’ series. Last time we delved into our anticipated TV series and anticipated movies for 2018, and this time, we are going to reveal to you all which songs throughout the first 3 months of 2018 have impacted us greatly, made us jump up for joy in praise to Jesus, have tugged at our heart, and have encouraged us to tap our toes and just dance! So without further ado, here are 20 songs that are our most favourite of January-March 2018.
Welcome to the latest instalment of our most recent blog series Top Tens. Last time, we unveiled 20 Artists and Songs that in our opinion should be present on WOW Hits 2018!
It seems that with the advent of Spotify, and more and more newer artists being present on WOW Hits albums, that there are more radio friendly Christian songs now than ever before. So some would say that it stands to reason that previous WOW Hits albums, especially those made in the 90’s and 00’s, were quite ‘easy’ to choose 30-odd tracks as the ‘best of the year’ without not much glaring oversights in terms of song choices.
Another month (or so) gone, another best of post. Sounds about right? Yeah, I reckon so too. It is nearly towards the end of the year, and while during December, many movies are releasing just in time for Oscar period, albums tend to be winding down releases, in the Christian industry at least. So I guess it’s fair to say that my top 30 albums of 2016 probably won’t change between now and a month from now…if they do change, I’ll just amend it in the comments of this post. Now, without further ado, here’s my favourite 30 albums of 2016. May you have many happy hours listening to great music and enjoy the remainder of 2016.
