T.C. Stallings

The new faith based film from the Kendrick Brothers (Alex and Stephen), called War Room, released to cinemas last week, and I had the privellege of interviewing the lead actor T.C. Stallings, recognised for his roles in films such as Jackson’s RunCourageous and Rumors Of Wars. In this email interview, we discussed the themes and take away messages from the film, what is next for TC in 2015, and what inspires him to share the love of Jesus everyday in the roles he portrays in various films! Check out the interview below.

You know how I said that episodes 2-5 of Once Upon A Time this season was probably one of the most intense batch of episodes I’ve seen of the show? Well guess what? Yep, episodes 6-8 topped the intensity and my enjoyment! And I know that part of the reason why I loved these past few episodes, apart from the twists and turns and learning more and more of the Snow Queen’s plan, is the double episode that aired on TV this week; however there is character development in abundance here, and we also see a glimpse into the Snow Queen’s endgame, and see how Rumple fares into the Frozen plot, as well as seeing the Apprentice being more involved in the storyline as well.

Probably one of the most intense batch of episodes I’ve seen of Once Upon a Time ever, the 4th season of the ABC series has started off with a big bang, as characters from Frozen filled our screens and interacted with our beloved Storybrooke characters. And while it seemed that in the 4th season premiere episode, that Elsa (Georgina Haig) was going to harm Storybrooke and be the next ‘villian’ for that particular half of the season; what is revealed in the episodes after tells a more chilling story. Welcome Elizabeth Mitchell, to the OUAT family, now if only we can figure out the Snow Queen’s endgame, because it is rather mysterious…

Agents Of SHIELD (Heavy Is The Head, Making Friends and Influencing People, I Will Face My Enemy, A Hen In The Wolfhouse)

Starring: Clark Gregg, Ming Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Nick Blood, BJ Britt, Patton Oswalt, Adrian Pasdar, Reed Diamond, Simon Kassianides, Henry Simmons, Brian Patrick Wade, Adrianne Palicki, Ruth Negga, Kyle McLachlan, Dylan Minnette

What a difference a few weeks makes! I remember, I was commenting last time about Agents Of Shield, that Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), who was absent from the premiere, except for in Fitz’s (Iain de Caestecker) head as a hallucination, would resurface only in the mid-season finale, and I also reiterated that Skye’s dad (Kyle McLachlan) could feature, as a possible good guy! Oh, how wrong was I on several accounts! In fact, the past few episodes of Shield have warranted my declaration that this show is one of my favourites this entire season, as we see new characters interacting with our main leads. We also are given more pieces of the overarching puzzle, as we ask questions such as what does Hydra member Daniel Whitehall (Reed Diamond) want with the obelisk, what are the strange writings that Coulson (Clark Gregg) is writing, and is Simmons Hydra; and as we ask these questions, we are then enthralled and amazed at the high calibre of the show, and how it could tie into the upcoming movies.

The inspirational film 23 Blast (starring Stephan Lang, Alexa PenaVega, Mark Hapka, and Max Adler), releases in the cinemas on October 24th 2014. The family friendly film is inspired by the true story of Travis Freeman (centre in the above picture), who became blind at an early age, but still overcame his fears. He played college football, and graduated from university, also gaining his Phd and his Masters of Divinity, and this film has just an uplifting and encouraging message for anyone to be inspired by. I had the privilege of interviewing Travis recently, and here we talk about his thoughts of his life being played out on the screen, the inspiration and challenges he faces daily being blind, as well as his faith being strengthened because of his blindness!
