This week on Worship Wednesdays, we are going to be quickly delving into Newsboys smash hit from 2003, called “He Reigns”, and diving deeper into who this song is so popular and life-edifying!
Welcome to another Throwback Tuesdays post- this week we are delving into a smash hit TobyMac song, called “Gone” that was recorded in 2004, 10 years ago.
Here’s the next instalment of “Sunday News Roundup”, this time from the 25th to the 31st August. Enjoy reading the scoop on the latest news!
Welcome to the latest instalment of our most recent blog series Top Tens, which is posting every Sunday, Australian time. Last week I shared my top 10 must do activities to undertake in Australia; this week I will talk about my top 10 favourite superheroes.
I wonder where you all were when Peter Furler, longtime member of possibly one of Christian music’s most famous bands ever, announced that he was stepping away from being the front-man of the Newsboys. I know where I was- in front of my computer, staring at the words, as if, at the time, everything else didn’t matter except for the news that was right in front of me. There was a moment where I thought I would never buy a Newsboys album again. Not because I knew that Michael Tait wasn’t a worthy replacement, but rather it was because the Newsboys that was going to be; may not have been the Newsboys I had grown to love when Peter was front man.
Welcome to a special instalment of Food Fridays, where I will be sharing some videos of recipes I have found interesting from visiting Woolworths recently.
If you know me by now through all the blog posts and reviews I have posted for 365 Days of Inspiring Media (no, I am not Josh, who usually writes for TV Thursdays, but rather his brother, Jon, who’s writing a guest post this week), you probably know that I watch a whole lot of TV. From past shows like MONK, Chuck, One Tree Hill, Eureka, Being Erica, Psych, Packed to the Rafters, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes and Suburgatory, to present shows like Royal Pains, Once Upon a Time, Parenthood, Orphan Black, Suits, Arrow, Person of Interest and Switched at Birth; television shows have always had something to say, whether it be for entertainment value, or with a message of hope, encouragement, or even a relevant issue for current society to gain from watching the show. Regardless of whatever reason you watch your favourite TV show, you gotta admit that TV show watching has been a form of education, learning, escapism, and a place where people can dream and hope.
After a brief hiatus, we are back with Worship Wednesdays. This week, we are delving into one of my favourite worship songs of late, the radio friendly smash hit “10 000 Reasons”. This was the song that made Matt Redman famous in the U.S. (well, famous enough for him to feature on a WOW Hits album), and is the song that I am sure will be elevated to hymn status in a few years.
Welcome to another Throwback Tuesdays post- this week we are delving into one of my favourite CCM songs ever- “I Can Only Imagine” by pop/rock band MercyMe.
