As you can probably know from my profile page on the website, I am currently an avid TV show watcher. Current shows like Parenthood, Once Upon a Time, Person of Interest, Castle, The Mentalist, Orphan Black, Switched at Birth, Continuum and Arrow; and previous shows like One Tree Hill, MONK, Psych, Packed to the Rafters, Eureka, Being Erica and Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes; have all, in one way or another, shown me how TV shows can be great, emotive, prolific, encouraging, motivating and entertaining all at once.

Futuristic Fridays (The Future of the World)

back to the future part II

Wondering about the future can be such a scary thing. What will happen in 10 years, 20 or even 50? Would DVD’s still be in circulation, would Coles, Woolworths, even companies like Coca Cola, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, Twitter or Disney be multinational global powerhouses, or will another company rise up to the challenge and step in? Will the United States of America still be the country that everyone looks towards for comfort, entertainment, news and security, or will another country, like China or India rise up and take their place? These are legitimate questions, and ought to be asked- by myself, and hopefully others, as we look towards our own personal futures, and the futures of our home countries, and the world, in years and decades to come.

about a mile

About a Mile, recently signed to Word Records, release their debut self-titled album on July 15th. I recently had the privilege in undertaking an email interview with the band (our first interview for 365 Days of Inspiring Media), as we discussed the album, their thoughts of being brothers in a band, as well as their hopes of what they want for their album as people listen to it.
