Today’s Throwback Tuesdays comes from the group Joy Electric. Growing up, this video came on TV a lot. I’m sure a lot of you remember TVU. It was my first real introduction to Christian music. My parents loved Christian music, but were hesitant to let me watch TVU because of videos from TobyMac, Skillet,  andThousand Foot Krutch. The early 2000’s were a time when Christian music was changing and expanding, becoming edgier and coming in its own. The video, “Children of the Lord” by Joy Electric is a perfect example of this. It features people from all walks of life and shows that it’s what’s inside that really matters. The song has a great message and is a fun electronic tune.
