- There have been plenty of album announcements and releases this past fortnight. Hillsong UNITED is releasing “Empire” in May; check out the story behind their new single “Touch The Sky” here, and Hillsong Worship’s single “O Praise The Name” here as well! Needtobreathe have released a new track and a tour sampler on Noisetrade, while Lexi Elisha has a new EP releasing at the end of April, and Adam Cappa just unveiled his kickstarter for a new EP as well. Carman has a new album in the works, and Joy Lippard, Fireflight, Shane And Shane, Joy Williams, Plumb, Matthew West and Audio Adrenaline all have new projects in the works. Sarah McCracken’s new album can be streamed on Relevant Magazine 2 weeks before the official release date, and Chris August’s “The Maker” can be streamed on New release Tuesday as well. Hawk Nelson has uploaded their entire album to youtube; what do you think of “Diamonds”? Future Of Forestry released their surprise new album this week, what do you think of the album? - It’s time for TV and movie news. First of all, in relation to brand new shows, The Way, Billions, The X Files and Coach have been ordered to series, while there is an extended synopsis for Westworld and more casting updates for the Arrow/Flash spinoff here and here. There is a first look promo for Mr Robot airing in a few months on USA Network, and a new 4 minute promo for Daredevil, airing in a few days; while there are also summer premiere dates for TNT and 2015 ABC pilot descriptions. Which news do you like the most?
- Now it’s time for spoilers about returning shows! You can view teasers for The Flash, Finding Carter and Orphan Black, as well as watch the first 8 minutes of Finding Carter season 2 episode 1. There is a featurette about The Avengers, and a rumour that Hugh Jackman will leave the Wolverine franchise. The biblical film Apostle Paul will release sometime in 2016, while the whole cast of Do You Believe? was interviewed about the film’s core values and beliefs. The CBS season finale dates and NBC summer schedule were both announced this week as well (as well as the May finale scorecard of 2015, and you can also view the Kids Choice Awards 2015 winners here.
