  • I Am They, one of the most recent signings to Provident Label Group, just released a video about the band, and their hopes of what they want listeners to hear when they listen to them. Check out the video here. In other Provident Label Group news, Jason Crabb just signed to the label as well, with a CCM/country/gospel project slated for later on during the year. What do you think of both I Am They and Jason Crabb signing to a label housing artists like Steven Curtis Chapman, Casting Crowns, Brandon Heath, Rush of Fools and Tenth Avenue North?
  • CBS and CW are the next two networks (after NBC) to unveil the premiere dates for their 2014/15 TV schedules. What do you think of the dates in which their new and returning shows are airing? While shows will you be watching when September rolls around?
  • There have been plenty of music videos released during the week. Artists Danny Gokey, Hillary Jane, Owl City, Needtobreathe and Remedy Drive have released videos for “Hope in Front of Me”, “Chimneys”, “Beautiful Times”, “Multiplied [Acoustic]” and “The King is Still On The Throne” respectively. Which video is your favourite?
  • On top of the music videos, lyric videos are plentiful- with lyric slides from Abandon, Lara Landon, Manafest, Sanctus Real, Rush of Fools and Paul Baloche debuting songs “It Was Love”, “There is Grace”, “Edge of My Life”, “Lay It Down”, “Take Me Over” and “Jesus Be My Saviour” respectively. What is your favourite song/lyric video, in terms of lyrics and creativity, from this week’s collection?
  • TV Line, a TV show review and news site, have compiled a poll for every day of the week, for the shows this coming fall season- a fall lineup poll for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Which shows will you watch live on each of the days and which shows will you DVR/record/watch online?
  • Bellarive are set to release their sophomore album Before There Was via Sparrow Records on July 22nd 2014; check out their next promotional single “Calling on Fire” on iTunes! How does this song sound in relation to “Lazarus” and “Bring Us Back”?
  • Besides I Am They and Jason Crabb, who both signed to Provident Label Group this week, a couple of other artists have signed to record labels. Canadian Dan Bremnes has just signed to Sparrow Records, and Fair Trade Services have signed contemporary pop/opera vocal group Veritas. Both debut album are set to release in the latter half of 2014; are you excited for these new artists and their label debut albums?
  • For KING AND COUNTRY are set to release their 2nd album on Word Records this coming September 2014; called Run Wild, Live Free, Love Strong. Check out the iTunes Pre-order and press release here, as well as the audio slide for the new song “It’s Not Over Yet”, and the story behind the hit single “Fix My Eyes”! Who’s excited for the album to release on September 16th 2014
  • Pop/rock band The Afters have just released their newest single “What We’re Here For” from their most recent album Life is Beautiful. Check out their newest video of what the inspiration behind the song was.
