  • There’s plenty of official and live music videos that have debuted this past week. Check out videos from Soulfire Revolution (“Revival (Live)”), Je’kob (“I Believe”), Tenth Avenue North (“No Man Is An Island”), needtobreathe (“Difference Maker (Acoustic)”), Worship Central (“The Way”) and Veridia (“Disconnected”); which video is your favourite?
  • Lauren Daigle, who recently signed to Centricity Music, is releasing her debut EP on September 16th; check out her lyric video for the title track “How Can It Be”. What do you think of the song, and are you excited for Lauren’s new songs?
  • Lincoln Brewster’s new album Oxygen releases on August 19th via Integrity Music; and he now has a new website, lyric video (“Made New”), new free song (“There Is Power”) and new iTunes link of the album! Are you stoked to hear the first studio album in 4 years from Lincoln, of all new material?
  • Besides ComicCon news and trailers (another post), there are plenty of TV news that are worthy of mentioning,
    • Agent Carter is coming sometime in 2015, but the show now has a description of the supporting characters; check them out here! Who’s excited to see the Agents of Shield spinoff? On the topic of Agents Of Shield, here’s an interview for you all to read with the producers of the show about season 2!
    • New FOX miniseries Gracepoint is not the same as the BBC remake Broadchurch; check out the details of this revelation here and here!
    • Want to know more about the poignant and heartfelt new FOX drama Red Band Society, which is sure to make you cry? Check out the new article here!
    • Here’s an inside look into the FOX show Gotham, according to creator Bruno Heller, who is famous for creating The Mentalist!
    • Once Upon A Time is casting another new Frozen character for Season 4; what do you think of Hans showing up in Storybrooke? (Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Sven have previously been cast, as well as Elizabeth Mitchell in an unknown role. Olaf won’t be in the series…)
    • Westworld has officially been ordered to pilot by HBO, with Anthony Hopkins and Evan Rachel Wood confirmed to star, and James Marsden in talks. Are you excited to see the show being developed by JJ Abrams and Jonathan Nolan (if it is picked up)?
    • Dig, a mini-series on USA Network starring Jason Isaacs, will be airing later on in 2014; check out the promo here!
    • NBC are remaking the Aussie TV show The Slap, and the miniseries has 2 stars attached to the project- Mary Louise Parker and Peter Saarsgard. Are you excited to see the remake, which will premiere in 2015 sometime (probably alongside Emerald City and A.D.)?
  • Speaking of Comic-Con earlier; check out the latest spoilers, promos, trailers and news from this year’s convention here– which show do you gravitate towards and which shows are you excited for?
  • A funny thing happened this week, Lecrae’s album shot up to no. 1 on all of iTunes, but it isn’t even released yet- Anomaly drops on September 9th 2014. Seems like the album will be epic, check out the pre-order here, and the featurette of the album here as well!
  • Hasn’t it been ages since Sidewalk Prophets’ Live Like That? Well the quintet are back, writing for the untitled third album of original songs. Are you excited for it?
  • There have been plenty of album announcements and releases to this week, with Dream Records announcing the release of Aaron Bagwell’s The Sound Of Jesus to stores this week, and the press release for Jars Of Clay’s new album 20 releasing as well. Vertical Church Band releases 4 albums from their solo artists, and Fuel Music has announced a new compilation album, titled Reverence: An Offering, with new tracks by up and coming artists. Which release are you excited for?
  • Apparently there is going to be a movie released in 2015 or 2016 about the friendship between CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien. As you know, these authors were friends, and wrote The Chronicles Of Narnia and The Lord Of The Rings series respectively; are you excited about this film, and who do you think should play these who iconic and historical figures?
  • Mat Kearney, who recently released Young Love in 2011; is going to release a new album in 2014. Check out the details here. Who can’t wait to hear Mat’s new tunes?
  • What do you think of the new cover just recently unveiled of Flyleaf’s new album Between The Stars, which releases on September 16th? Strange, huh? But mesmerising also? This new album is the first without Lacey Sturm as lead vocalist, are you going to pick it up?
  • A few weeks ago, it was evident that Flame and Lecrae were suing Katy Perry for using part of a melody in one of her songs that was present in Flame’s song first, which was sung with Lecrae. Now Lecrae has said that he is not a part of the legal dispute between Flame and Katy Perry. What do you think of the latest development?
  • The WOW Hits 2015 list is coming out next week (and the album releases at the end of September); who’s excited? Check out our thoughts on the list, as well as our predicted list too!

  • Releasing her best of album chronicling 25 years in the music industry; Crystal Lewis has debuted her rerecorded smash hit “People Get Ready, Jesus Is Coming”, featuring guest rap vocals from Propaganda. What do you think of this track recorded many years after the popular original version?
  • This fall, Kari Jobe is touring with Warren Barfield, and Casting Crowns has launched the Thrive Tour with Mandisa and Sidewalk Prophets; which tour are you thinking of attending?
  • Pop/rock band Esterlyn has offered up Woven for free on Noisetrade, for 2 weeks, ahead of Love album in August; make sure you pick it up for some moving and inspiring melodies!
